Hey I am also 5'4" and 22... I have recently made a conscious effort to eat better. My height weight was 2 years ago after two major leg surgeries around 135. As a college athlete it was devastating for me not to be able to work out and I ate all of my feelings. This past summer I joined the gym with my mom and was determined to have a great senior field hockey season. I worked my ass off, lifted weights like crazy and I had the body to prove it. I was solid and slender around 128.

Since I've been back this spring semester I have been working so hard at getting back into shape. As of this morning I am 125.5, but I don't feel great. I've been fueling my body better but I don't have much muscle mass which makes me feel blah. I started to become obsessed with counting calories and trying to lost as much weight as possible so I've decided to stop counting all together and when I'm hungry just make better choices.

I just wanted to let you know that I plan on following you daily and hope that you continue to do well. If you have any tips you'd like to share with me that would be AWESOME. keep working hard, I hope we are both successful :-)

Hi there! It’s great meeting people with the same stats, this way you know accomplishment is very much possible :) I’m incredibly sorry to hear about your surgeries but it sounds like you overcame those obstacles to get your body back into great shape! I am currently 128 pounds, but I’m not as solid as I would like.

It sounds like you are on the right path at 125.5! I’ve only recently started to count calories in order to see if I’m giving my body everything it needs. Depending on my workout, it’s becoming harder to give my body as many calories as it needs than it is to restrain myself from eating junk. Now that you’re more aware of the calorie content in food, I have complete faith you’ll be making the smartest decisions for your body!

Thank you for the follow! I hope we can succeed together! I would love to share tips. I actually went to check out your blog & write in your ask box because there are things I’d very much like to discuss with you. Unfortunately, when I went to your page it only said “Recalculating” at the top & no matter how much I refreshed or clicked on that link, nothing else appeared.

Please don’t be a stranger :) And GOOD LUCK!
